I've had a failed ignition coil occur in our nation's capital. An unknown gremlin presented itself in an undercover carpark leaving me stranded after returning to Melbourne. This was followed by failed electric window switches; not one but two. Just now, the old battery decided to retire.
The joys of owning a thirty year old car. I must note that I'm not surprised at any of this, just disappointed that they occurred so soon and so frequently. Knowing that the car has been in storage for a while helps me sleep at night; these occurrences are expected.
In the end, I pause and look at the curvaceous beauty and am pleased to be able to call her my own. That's what counts: it's always about the car.
